Would you describe Michael Jordan Kobe Tiger Woods Ali Babe Ruth Gretzky once in a lifetime athlete or players?

Ali, and Ruth yes. Before MJ there was Dr. J. Before Kobe there was MJ. Before Gretzky there was Howe. Catch my logic in this evaluation? The so called "once in a lifetime" athletes to me are the ones to which before them there was no one to compare them to. Before Babe Ruth baseball was more about generating runs on a base by base method. Before Ali no one (with the possible exception of Joe Louis) had the ability to beat you in points, and/or knockout. He possessed both qualities.
