Let's imagine for one minute that Tiger Woods is not famous. What did you feel when he spoke on friday.?

by admin on March 3, 2010

I am speaking from a mother’s point of view. Children no matter what he or she has done we love them and accept them.

Now, for one minute I will see him for Tiger Woods. What I liked about his speech on friday, was that he admit that he was unfaithful. Most famous people do not admit things like that. I hope Tiger can forgive himself as a person. Because in this life no one is perfect.

It was amazing that he managed to look into the camera EVERY TIME he was trying to show remorse. The average is 60-70%, so it shows his speech and the mannerisms were rehearsed. It was also interesting that his blink rate and swallowing rate went up in those instances, as well.*

Look at it this way- Jim Thorpe was convicted to a year in prison for tax evasion. Some could say that is a more grievous act against the public than what Tiger did. The difference? Mr. Thorpe went on The Golf Channel and talked about it, showed actual humility, and didn’t give any terse, rehearsed speech. It was genuine. He did it with as much integrity as someone in his position can. It actually made me feel like supporting him even more than I do now. Tiger needs to take some lessons from Mr. Thorpe.

If we were imagining for one minute that Tiger Woods is not famous, we would not have seen his speech on Friday. Other adulterers’ confessions aren’t carried live by four major networks. If they were, they’d never have time for any programming or REAL news.

I know the man, personally…and he was humble, remorseful, and genuine! The media created this frenzy. ALL PRO ATHLETES, do the same thing…period! The media and you people made him a "role model"…he didn’t. AND WHO ARE ANY OF YOU TO JUDGE? Jordan, makes Tiger, look like a virgin! "I wann be like, Mike"…bull%^it…notorious gambler, and womanizer…a real whore.

GREAT APOLOGY!
