Do you feel sorry for Tiger Woods now that Gatorade has dropped him?

by admin on March 2, 2010

Seems like a number of former sponsors have cut the cord as well. Gillette said they "don’t need the distraction" of Tiger Woods in their advertising campaigns. Do you feel sorry for him or is he getting a dose of reality? Is the price he is paying for his personal transgressions way over the top or fair?

Not really, Tiger was paid about $90 million dollars before he ever hit a shot on the PGA Tour so I think he will be just fine. He could play with no logos and no sponsors if he wanted to, but his main sponsor Nike will never drop him.

The guy is worth almost a billion dollars. What’s a few million that he lost?

Yes, I feel sorry for Tiger, but not because Gatorade has dropped him. All ,that a media has done to him for the last few months, is unbelievable cruel and inhuman. I would like to remind to all of reporters the words of Robert Penn Warren : " Son,if you live long enough, you will understand that even a reporter does not always have to be a scum". ~ "All the King’s Men"

NO WAY he was a total jerk. he deserves it.

He only brought it upon himself. It didn’t have to be this way, but he made some poor decisions…."what goes around, comes around"
So, NO, I don’t feel sorry for him.

gatorade should have kept him for a great ad campaign, "world number one for ten years and 20 mistresses- he couldn’t have done it without GATORADE" " gatorade the drink for golf and sha**ing" the mind boggles

I do not. He is getting exactly what he deserves. Sex addict or not he seems like one arrogant, selfish person.

No. Tiger Woods is just experiencing the a bit of self induced karma. Tiger Woods chose to commit the transgressions and despite many ‘physiological’ reports that Woods cheated because of the pressure of the public spotlight is mere quackery. Tiger Woods has no one to blame but himself and his extremely arrogant management team that allowed him too get away with these disgusting acts for so long, without intervening and for not forcing Tiger to face the music immediately instead of in Tiger own time.

Anyway, Tiger has plenty of money, financially he has got nothing to worry about.

Sponsers are just doing the prudent thing, not just because of the controversly surronding Tiger, but because he will be sitting out and not playing for an indefinite period. It doesn’t make sense to pay a guy to promote your product when he’s doing his very best to disappear from public sight.

Tiger will get his sponsers back, or get new ones, as soon as he starts playing again. The public is amazing quick to forgive transgressions like this… just ask Kobe Bryant.

he knows his worthing .

Why feel sorry for Tiger Woods? He has so much money already!
Tiger Woods should feel sorry for people who are unemployed, people with terminal illness, people who struggle to pay the bills. There are many hard working, responsible, honest people out there who struggle to put food on the table. He makes so much money out of putting golf balls into holes and goofing around.

I do, now he has nothing to drink for a post-adultery thirst quencher.
