Well, every team has a chance to win the World Series. Some teams more than others.

but only because every other team’s star players were all caught using roids near the end of the season, thus causing all the other teams to lose, while the royals, who have basically 1 star, keep winning and win the pennant. same thing happens in the NL, allowing the pirates to also reach the lowest viewed world series in history

Yes but they have to beat the Blue Jays and Orioles in the playoffs first. Pirates have to watch out for those pesky Nationals. Adam Dunn is batting .390 next season.

adding Jason Kendall was a HUGE pickup, but i’m just not sure it’ll be enough to get the Royals past the Orioles in the Division Championship Series.
And then it’s pretty much guaranteed that it’ll be the Nationals from the NL. I like their strategy of only playing 5 innings per game last year so that they’d all be rested and ready to compete this coming season.
