This is a question for New York Yankee fans:
I was born in Port Chester, New York in 1990 and I moved to Kansas about a year later. I didn’t really watch baseball a whole lot when I was little but I did watch some (my favorite sport is basketball and my favorite team is the Kansas Jayhawks; I consider myself a true Jayhawk fan and have been all my life). Anyway, I enjoyed watching the Yankees and when I was little my favorite baseball players was Bernie Williams and Darryl Strawberry. However, I also am a Kansas City Royals fan.
My question is can I call myself a true Yankee Fan or would I be considered a bandwagon fan?

you have the right to me whatever fan you choose to be, i have been a twins fan since 61, but before we had a team i was a cardinal’s fan
YOU ARE FROM NEW YORK STATE, SO ARE A TRUE FAN!! IAM 48 AND AM FROM ALBANY, NEW YORK,. AND HAVE BEEN YANKEE FAN FOR 35 YEARS!! I AM TRUE YANKEE FAN DISPITE FACT I DID NOT LIVE IN CITY!! GO YANKEES
Mmm, well, how do you feel?
Many people have more than 1 favorite team. You’re a yankee fan but a true yankee fan? Not sure but why not?
Sure just turn into a yankees fan now BUT no switching if they start to do bad. I remeber last year how "yankees fans" would start turning their backs on the yankees cause they played poorly. I was out there wearing my typical yankees t shirts and driving my yankees tagged vehicle anyway. Thats what a true fan does, sticks with their team in the good and bad.
