Who else thinks that its CRAP if BIg Z signs back with Cleveland this year?

by admin on March 14, 2010

I mean this needs to change in the NBA. A player who gets traded and then bought out of there contract, should not be allowed to go back and resign with the team in the same season. I would be fine with it if they did it after the season but not in the same season. Thats basically Indian Giving as the expression goes.

Why are you complaining about Z going "back" to Cleveland? It’s the only team he has ever played for. It’s where he has called home for the past decade and more. In fact it should satisfy you that a guy would prefer to stick with a team despite its struggles through the years and take a pay cut just because he loves the fans, teammates, etc. Besides, why is everyone so worried about the Cavs? I thought the "Lakers would repeat". Boston "will destroy everybody". Magic "make some noise". Etc. They still have only one superstar and everybody else is a role player. Sure they have some borderline or former all-stars but nobody else is near the talent level of James. So what’s there to worry about if you’re not a Cavs fan?

Despite that insensitive expression, I agree with you. The Cavs are basically having their cake and eating it too. But, then again, Big Z isn’t exactly Yao Ming.

I think it is a stupid rule that does need addressing. While I was sad to hear that Big Z got traded…and I am a little happy that he may be a Cav again…The principle of it is crap. If you get traded, you get traded. This should be addressed waaaaaaaaay before straw chewing bans, bobcat ownership, and revenue sharing. Well, maybe not revenue sharing…ballers gotta get paid!

I don’t think so. The Wizards ultimately chose to buy out his contract.

Excuse me i’m french.I think Zydrunas Ilgauskas signed back with Cleveland because he loves this team. Moreover for Cleveland it’s very interesting : they engage Antawn Jamison by selling Ilgauskas, then the latter come back :so we can consider they bought Antawn for a little bit of money. So it’s very interesting because now they have a roster better and for free.

Excuse me for my really bad english.^^

Why is it such a big deal. It’s not cheating. I really don’t understand the outrage surrounding this topic.
