Each team will play their division rivals 24 times each, 6 games each against their other league rivals, and 18 interleague games. People have debated that expansion will water down the league’s talent. So, Major League Baseball should add women who played softball in high school and college to the league.
There are no rules in Major League Baseball that say women can’t play in the league.

first of softball is not the same as baseball. they can’t just convert that quickly. Also, they should have an expansion team in each league, and maybe the brewers should go back to the AL. i like the NFL’s four team division setup. I was actually talking to my dad about this last week, and he like it too. And for the playoffs, if you want wild cards you would need to add an extra round. that’s ok because who doesn’t like the playoffs?

maybe but you will have a lot of playoff games and will have to create a third round following the LCS because it goes LDS,LCS,world series, but if you do that then you will have to make a new round

this could very well work to make it even in both the american league and national league but it would have to be east the west the central and the north or south but midwest and central are the same

women would get slaughtered

I like your break-down. One thing that would possibly not work is your Portland team (fan base?). Try Las Vegas instead. Also, if a woman is good enough, let her play. I wouldn’t make it a necessity however. Then you would get into some interesting logistical problems.

This is a great idea. But, I do not think the expansion teams will work. The MLB can not convert that quickly, and needs time. Also, the Central division and Midwest division are alike in too many ways.

It will work if you want to have watered-down talent, two more teams with ~15,000 fans at their games, and fans booing women for striking out every AB and giving up 600-foot home runs. Yeah, that’s a great idea. And maybe each team should draft one player right out of Little League and send him straight to the majors so we can see how 13-year-old boys fare against major league players.

Women would have no chance in MLB. No more expanision because MLB already has the same failing teams and the same teams in the playoffs every year.

Don’t did two more failing teams every year like the Rays, Nationals, Rangers and Royals while the Yankees, Red Sox, Braves, Cardinals in the playoffs every year.

yea but like she said before there will have to be more playoff games which isn’t a big deal but it will cost money to make the expansion teams

Yeah, but get the Newark Bears in there. :)

Indianapolis won’t work it’s to close to Cincinnati.Owners have to vote on expansion it would take alot of politicking.Mlb needs to distract teams like Rays and Marlins they don’t draw that much .
