What was the odds of this happening? ?

by admin on March 22, 2010

Both the Chicago Cubs and Chicago White Sox won tonight, and they both won with the same score, and both shutout the teams they played. While both playing in Chicago, in thier home stadium, the Cubs beat the Reds 5-0, and the White Sox won 5-0 against the Seattle Mariners. And against both former Chicago Cubs mangers, Jim Riggleman, and Dusty Baker? So what did you think about this, anmd even the odds of this happening?

It’s actually quite interesting, and probably doesn’t very often, if at all.
But Red Sox suck, Go Angels! [:

It sounds like someone is either extremely observant, or has TOO much time on their hands.
Looking back at it, while it probably doesn’t happen often, it’s not that unbelievable. I’ll give it once every year or two.

Probably about the same odds as both teams being first place this late in the season.

Astronomical to say the least. Very observant on your part.
