The funniest thing is one guy here said Angels.

It cracks me up how 95% of the people who post here don't know that baseball existed before 1995.

The Chicago Cubs are the ONLY National League franchise in the same city since 1876.

In the American League, the Boston Red Sox, the Chicago White Sox, the Cleveland Indians, and the Detroit Tigers, are the only original teams still in the same city since 1901.

AL: Yankees, started as the Baltimore Orioles, moved to New York in 1903.
NL: Phillies, did not start until 1883. Reds, started in 1882. Cardinals, also in 1882.

Before you make a bet, do some research.

The Yankees started out as the Baltimore Orioles.

edit: The AL started in 1901. The Angels started in 1961.

edit2: Just checked the Phillies. They didn't join the NL until 1883, seven years after the league started in 1876.
